Join us for Polar Plunge® where individuals and teams, alongside our athletes, families, sponsors, staff, fans and community members, experience heart-warming and bone chilling-extremes as they take the plunge into the cold Aquatica wave pool to raise money for Special Olympics Florida.  Aquatica is usually warm and tropical, but once each year they chill down their wave pool so you can experience the “thrill of the chill” all while supporting a great cause. Plungers enjoy all of Aquatica’s heated rides for the rest of the day.

How It Works

For just $100 in pledges – the cost to Plunge – Plungers automatically get entry into Aquatica, an All-Day Food Pass, the official Polar Plunge® T-shirt, two spectator passes and bragging rights over everyone who just couldn't bear it! Plus, the more money you raise, the more cool stuff you can get – like Aquatica, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove tickets.

Plungers can create their own Plunge Web Page for friends, family and co-workers to visit and donate online. It’s quick and easy.

Plungers must raise a minimum of $100 to Plunge, but the more money you raise, the more opportunities you are creating for our athletes to experience the life-changing benefits of participating in Special Olympics — all at no cost to themselves or their caregivers.

Virtual Plunger

Do not want to Plunge, but still participate? Become a Virtual Plunger.  Raise pledges and receive incentives just like a regular Plunger, but without going into the chilly water.
