Overview
The Par 3 Marathon is a unique, competitive golf event being hosted by Special Olympics Florida to raise funds to support our deserving athletes.
Using a unique format, the Par 3 Marathon delivers on a competitive environment loaded with fun.
Par 3 Marathon Rules
- Play 100 par 3 holes golf holes on the selected day
- Anything inside five feet is good
- Maximum score is a bogey 4
- Play multiple balls on eachhole
Where & When to Qualify
- ChampionsGate 9 - October 3 and 14
- Legends Walk at Orange Lake - October 12
- Palm Beach Par 3 - October 6
How to Get Involved
- Register online and create a personal fundraising web page
- Invite friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your Marathon
- Donors use credit cards to make donations on your webpage
- As you raise money, you earn incentives
- Must raise a minimum of $500 to be eligible
Championship Event
- Top 20 fundraisers earn an invitation to play at Isleworth Country Club on Monday, October 15
- Compete for incredible hole-in-one prizes
2013 Masters Drawing
- Win 2 tickets to the Practice Rounds Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Includes lodging and transfers to Augusta National
- Earn 1 entry when reaching $1,000 raised. Receive 1 additional entry for each $100 raised above $1,000.
- Your donors/sponsors earn 1 entry with each $100 donation
Other Incentives
- $500 - Entry into Marathon, Loudmouth Golf pants or shorts, dozen balls, hat, lunch, drinks, and the satisfaction of helping Special Olympics
- $1000 - Entry into the Masters Drawing
- $1500 - Foursome of Golf

About Special Olympics
The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
The ultimate objective of Special Olympics Florida is to help people with intellectual disabilities participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public's awareness of their capabilities and needs.
