County Program: Broward About: I have competed in alpine skiing, basketball, volleyball, and aquatics. I have been an SO athlete for 10 years. I became involved through a fellow athlete. The highlight of my experience with SO has been competing as an athlete. I have served on Athlete Input Council, CMT athlete of the year, and Bulldog organization-fundraising. I have used my leadership and communication skills though Bulldog by going out to the public and doing speeches. I hope to be able to learn how to speak more, speak well, and not be so nervous. I think Athlete Congress is important to SO because the athletes can have a voice. I am most looking forward to learning to work with others, and speak in front of people.
